3.2 Principles for Processing Your Personal Data
We process your data according to the legal requirements for the purposes set forth in this privacy policy or according to our contractual agreements. We ensure transparent and proportionate processing.
3.3. Purposes of Processing
We use your data exclusively for the purposes described in this privacy policy or contractually agreed upon, namely to market and deliver products or services, to process your inquiries, for communication, and in connection with a contractual relationship. Some data is collected to ensure the flawless provision of the website. The data created during the use of the website can also be used to analyze your user behavior in order to continuously improve and personalize our offerings and user experience.

We contractually ensure that these commissioned third parties, business partners, and affiliated companies meet the applicable data protection requirements. In some cases, we may also be required to disclose your data to authorities, offices, financial institutions, insurance companies, credit agencies.
3.5 Data Processing in Switzerland and Abroad
To provide our services and thus process your personal data, we work with providers in Switzerland and abroad. The global offer enables us to utilize the best possible and most reliable services. Other countries may have different data protection standards compared to Switzerland. In this case, we will contractually agree on measures with our service providers to ensure an adequate level of data protection (e.g., the standard contractual clauses approved by the EDOEB of the EU or other appropriate measures).
The individual data processing operations are described in detail below in point 4.
3.6 How Long We Retain Your Data
We store personal data only to the extent and for as long as necessary to fulfill the respective purposes for which the data was collected, we are legally obliged to retain it or have a legitimate overriding interest in retaining it.
3.7 How We Protect Your Data
We will securely store your data and take appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data from loss, access, misuse, or alterations. However, we point out that data transmission over the internet (as with communication via email) may have security gaps. A comprehensive protection of data against access by third parties is unfortunately not possible.
Our contractual partners and employees with access to your data are obliged to comply with data protection provisions. Even in these cases, your data will be treated confidentially. Data you enter on this website (e.g., orders or inquiries) are transmitted encrypted (SSL or TLS encryption).
3.8 Your Rights Regarding Your Data
You have the right to obtain information about the personal data we process about you at any time. You have the right to correct your personal data and, if applicable, to object to the processing or deletion of your personal data.
If our processing is based on your consent, you also have the right to withdraw your consent to the processing of your data at any time for the future. To the extent that the GDPR applies and we process data for the fulfillment of a contract or based on your consent, you also have the right to receive a copy of your personal data for transfer to a third party.
Please note that there are exceptions or limitations for these rights. In particular, we may need to further process and store your personal data to fulfill a contract with you, to preserve our own legitimate interests such as the assertion, exercise, or defense of legal claims, or to meet legal obligations. To the extent legally permissible, particularly to protect the rights and freedoms of others affected and to protect our legitimate interests (e.g., confidentiality and security interests as well as consideration of our operational resources and capabilities), we may therefore also reject your data protection-related requests, such as requests for information and deletion, or only comply with them to a limited extent.

We have a legitimate interest in this.
The providers of the web analytics services store the information collected via cookies only in anonymized form and process it in aggregated form. This excludes agreements you have made directly with external advertising providers, e.g., if you have an account with such an advertising provider (e.g., a Google account) and have consented to the personalization of advertisements by linking visitor data with your account.

If you submit data to us via external platforms, such as social media, or communication apps, such as WhatsApp, or interact with our content, the general terms and conditions (T&Cs), terms of use, privacy policies, and other provisions of the respective providers and operators of the respective platforms primarily apply. These provisions primarily inform about the rights of affected persons directly with respect to the respective platform, including the right to information.
For organizational reasons, communication over such platforms may involve further external service providers/IT providers or be combined through them (see 4.5).
4.2.4 Email Marketing
If you send us your personal data for the purpose of automated emails (e.g., newsletters or user journeys), we process your data until revoked or until the purpose of processing is fulfilled and there are no other legal reasons for retaining it. A link to unsubscribe from automated emails can be found at the end of each of these emails.

4.4 Marketing and Tracking
4.4.1 Targeting
We want to show our offerings primarily to those people who may be interested in them. To this end, we use the targeting options provided by companies such as Google, Meta, or Microsoft. For example, Instagram users see relevant ads according to their personal profiles in the Meta Company. This form of targeting is only possible in groups; specific individuals cannot be targeted. You can disable personalized advertising in your profile settings on the respective platform. The data protection and usage policies of the respective website or platform primarily apply.
4.4.2 When You Interact with Our Ads
When you interact with our ads on other websites or platforms, we receive anonymized information in aggregated form for the statistical evaluation of the success of our advertising measures. The operators of the platforms may allow us to create our own target audiences for marketing purposes based on such interactions (with our content). These so-called Custom Audiences can then be targeted with paid content via the respective platform.
The members of such Custom Audiences are not visible to us and statistical data cannot be attributed to specific individuals unless communication occurs (e.g., through messages, comments, or likes). The data protection and use policies of the respective website or platform primarily apply.
4.4.3 When You Click on Our Ads
If you click on an ad and thereby access our website, certain data from the platform, such as information about the campaign, ad, or name of the Custom Audience, can be attributed to your visit to our website.
This data is anonymized with the analytical data according to section 4.1.3 and evaluated in aggregated form.
4.4.4 Tracking by External Advertisers on This Website
To evaluate the success of an advertising campaign, it is crucial to classify certain behavior or events as successes. This form of tracking occurs with cookies and/or tracking pixels (also known as web beacons). External advertisers receive data about your visit to our website. This includes your IP address, information about your browser and device, as well as information about your individual surfing and reading behavior on our website. If you have a profile on these platforms, such information may be assigned to it. Further information can be found in the privacy policy of the respective provider.
The advertising providers with whom we share this data can be found in section 4.5.
This measure is only executed if you have consented to our marketing measures. You can withdraw this consent at any time in our consent manager. Further information can be found in section 4.6 Cookies.
