Egnach, 11 June 2026 – Resaphene Suisse AG is further expanding the strategic positioning of its tinniwell in-ears. As part of the previously communicated OTC focus, the development and industrialization of a revised generation of in-ears has been initiated, which in the future is also to be available as an over-the-counter product.

The tinniwell in-ears are increasingly being positioned as an over-the-counter product (OTC – without medical prescription) and made usable independently of the app. In order to optimally open up this market segment, the underlying in-ear hardware is being further developed technologically. The development and industrialization services are commissioned and handled via an independent contract partner who bears commercial responsibility towards the executing development partner.

The development partner was selected following a careful selection process in which several providers were compared in terms of technical competence, cost structure and regulatory suitability. A key criterion was the regulatory setup of the partner: As an FDA-accredited manufacturer, they provide an important foundation for the targeted international market access, including the US market. Development is carried out in accordance with the relevant standards and is designed for subsequent series production. First steps include feasibility as well as circuit and mechanical design.

With this expansion, Resaphene Suisse AG is creating the foundation to make the tinniwell in-ears accessible for additional market segments in the area of well-being and everyday applications and to further increase the product's reach.
